The San Francisco 49ers may have finally been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in Cleveland but that hasn't kept the players from spreading some cheer with children around Northern California. Several players participated in the 49ers annual toy drive that was held at the team store at the stadium as well as the "Shop with a Player" event that was held at a local Target store.

For the 2015 holiday season, 49ers created a "12 days of Giving" campaign where players will give to the less fortunate. You can watch a video from 49ers Community about the happenings here, and there are some great pictures as well. You can also follow the events on Twitter at @49ersCommunity.

Former 49er Marcus Lattimore also got into the giving spirit, taking South Carolina flood victims on a shopping spree. He took 25 children to a local Walmart where he bought them a pair of shoes as well as giving them a $120 gift card to spend however they wanted. You can watch the video here.
It's nice to know that even though the 49ers record isn't anything to smile about, that the 49ers are bringing joy to children that need it the most.
