Once again in a 49ers' loss, the score looks close and there was some excitement near the end of the game. The 49ers defense and special teams made some plays to put the offense so close that they couldn't do anything else but score. And score they did. But for most of the game, that same offense was pretty much absent. I think Blaine Gabbert has had enough losses that his early honeymoon with fans has finally worn off.

We simply go back to the point that there is no longer enough experienced talent on this team, and Gabbert simply is not good enough to carry any team let alone this one. So what we end up with is another loss where the team "competed", but couldn't come close to a win. I've pretty much accepted this and although any loss is bad, the silver lining of better draft position still exists. Now let's see what the media has to say about the team.
