We're back for another week of the 2015 NFL season, which means another look at San Francisco 49ers predictions. The team wraps up its road schedule, traveling to face the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The game kicks off at 10:00 a.m. PT on FOX.
Once again, it is time for more predictions for Sunday's game. I posted the Week 16 prediction contest thread, so you can get all of your picks in there, but we can focus on 49ers-specific picks in here. I went into this week thinking the 49ers were going to struggle on the road again, but I am having second thoughts. The Lions put a lot into beating the Saints, and now are headed back home to finish up playing out the string. This is a post-Christmas game, so you've got a Lions team that has been able to enjoy home-cooking this week. I wonder if they might be a little lackadaisical out of the gate? This feels a little like the Bears game a few weeks back. Maybe the 49ers don't win this game, but I could see them covering the 9.5-point spread
