49ers vs. Lions 2015: Score update, game time, TV schedule, odds and more

The San Francisco 49ers are on the road for Week 16. They face the Detroit Lions, kicking off on FOX at 10:00 a.m. PT. We take a look at pertinent details related to the game, as well as provide an open thread for discussion.

It's game time! The San Francisco 49ers are on the road facing the Detroit Lions in Week 16. The game kicks off at 10:00 a.m. PT on FOX, led by a crew of Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis in the booth, and Tony Siragusa on the sideline.

The 49ers are 4-10, and playing for draft positioning or some offseason momentum, depending on your point of view. They enter the game on a two-game losing streak. They get going early today with their final road game of the season. They face a Lions team that is coming off a Monday Night Football win over the New Orleans Saints. The Lions are a very inconsistent team. The offense is looking much improved the last few games, but Matthew Stafford and Ameer Abdullah are always good for some turnovers. The Lions offense could destroy the 49ers struggling road defense, or this game could be an ugly one like the Bears game. Neither result would surprise me.
