Good morning! The San Francisco 49ers are through one day of practice in their final week of the 2015 regular season. It is amazing how quickly this season has flown by. Considering how bad it has been for stretches, I would have thought it might stretch a little slower. Instead, we are almost through everything, and we will get some clarification on the futures of various people.
Jim Tomsula and his coaching staff will be the first bit of resolution, likely no later than Monday or Tuesday. There will be free agency and the draft, but April 1 is another big date in the offseason with Colin Kaepernick's future to be determined by then. If Tomsula returns, I am curious to see if this offseason drags, or if the buckets of salary cap money create some roster turnover and interest that pushes things along. I'm just not sure what to expect, but all I ask is that it not be boring. Of course, last offseason wasn't exactly boring.....
