Good morning everyone. At the time of writing this, San Francisco 49ers headquarters is still standing and no executives have been seriously burned by the ongoing dumpster fire that is the front office. EDIT: Just before pubbing this, of course news of Paraag Marathe losing his title as team president came down. Go 49ers. Still, something could be coming along shortly, as Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News recently said that something big was going down in the 49ers' front office.
Something big is probably coming, or ... maybe nothing will happen. It's totally possible that the 49ers are just a big mess all around and Kawakami has heard something that is just somebody in the middle of that mess talking about what a mess it is. But it also wouldn't be surprising if everyone was fired by the time this post goes live at 2 a.m. pacific.
If that happens, well ... good on them, I guess? Whatever happens, I can't see them somehow making the 49ers even worse on the field. But hey, maybe they'll find a way! Onto your links for the day.
