It's game time! The San Francisco 49ers are on the road at Solider Field to face the Chicago Bears. The game kicks off at 10:00 a.m. PT on FOX, led by a crew of Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Laura Okmin.
The 49ers are coming off a tough home loss to the Arizona Cardinals, and face a Bears team that is playing some solid football. The Bears are 5-6 and have won three of their last four games. They knocked off the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving, and are in the wild card hunt. They have some talent issues, but the coaching staff has been critical to their success thus far. That coaching staff makes for a big storyline against the 49ers, particularly given Vic Fangio's history with the team. It will be interesting to see if one team can gain an edge between Fangio and the 49ers offense.
We'll have a few threads throughout the course of the game, and a recap immediately after. One thing I have added to the threads this year is the 49ers media Twitter list. If you cannot watch the game, you can follow some of the updates in there/ We'll have plenty to break down after the game, but for now, here's your first quarter game thread. Along with it is a rundown of pertinent information related to the game.
