We're back for another week of Sunday Night Football, and this one is a potential AFC playoff preview. The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting the Indianapolis Colts on NBC, with the game set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. PT. We have plenty of other threads if you want to talk about the 49ers performance, so keep this one as just SNF.
The Colts are 6-5 and can take a one-game lead on the Houston Texans with a win. The Steelers are also 6-5, but on the outside looking in at the playoff picture. The 7-5 New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs both have the edge on the Steelers, so Pittsburgh needs a win just to keep pace behind them.
The Steelers are a sizable favorite in this one. The line opened with them as six-point favorites, and closes with a lot of sportsbooks moving all the way up to ten points. The Colts will be rolling out Matt Hasselbeck against a shaky Steelers defense. Hasselbeck has won four straight starts, making him the first 40+ quarterback to do that since Brett Favre. On the other hand, Ben Roethlisberger appears to be healthy, and is coming off a 456-yard performance against the Seahawks. He has a chance for big numbers against this Colts defense.
