49ers-Bengals odds: Early line has Cincinnati touchdown favorite for Week 15

New, comments

It's never too early to look at gambling lines. We take a look at an early Week 15 line for the 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers face the Cleveland Browns this weekend as a 1.5-point underdog, but that doesn't mean we can't look even further on the gambling lines. The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook unveiled look-ahead lines for Week 15, and they have listed the 49ers as a touchdown underdog at home against the Cincinnati Bengals.

I am not overly surprised they are listed as underdogs, but it will be interesting to see what the upcoming weekend does to the line. The 49ers travel to face the Browns, while the Bengals are at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals have a commanding lead in the AFC North, but the Steelers are playing some great offensive football right now. Ben Roethlisberger and company could create some serious problems for the Bengals defense.

Whether or not the Bengals lose on Sunday, the line is going to remain pretty significant heading into next week. Sportsbooks will formally release the line early Sunday afternoon as the 49ers and Bengals both play in the 10 a.m. PT hour. Barring any crazy injury news, if the 49ers win the line will probably be around a touchdown. If the 49ers lose, it might open closer to double digits. And even if it does not open near double digits, it could quickly move in that direction with a 49ers Week 14 loss.
