NaVorro Bowman third among ILBs in Pro Bowl voting, trails Clay Matthews by 5,244 fan votes

We've got the latest Pro Bowl results. One member of the 49ers is in striking distance.

The San Francisco 49ers are struggling this season, but there are still some great stories. One of the most notable is the return of NaVorro Bowman. In his return from a horrific January 2014 knee injury, he has shown that he still has a lot of the ability he did before the injury. The process is on-going, but he is showing great signs.

That return has resulted in a strong presence in Pro Bowl voting. The NFL released the latest round of Pro Bowl fan voting results, and Bowman is currently third among inside linebackers. Luke Kuechly leads the way with 193,252 votes. Clay Matthews has 130,161 votes, and Bowman is 5,244 votes behind him, at 124,917. D'Qwell Jackson is fourth at 89,037. The fan vote only counts for one-third of the final ballot, with players and coaches also factoring in to the final tally.

The players and coaches could very well be enough to get Bowman into the game, but why not boost Bowman even further in the fan vote? You can vote here, you can vote as many times as you want, and you don't need to vote for every position. You can just go in and vote for Bowman alone over and over again. I got in ten quick votes for him before publishing this article, so make sure you go in and vote for Bowman! You can vote until December 15.
