Joe Staley on Seahawks, Marshawn Lynch is how we all felt about 49ers, Frank Gore

The Seattle Seahawks did not use their beast of a running back on second and goal at the 1-yard line. Joe Staley was baffled by the play-calling.

The Seattle Seahawks lost in heart-breaking fashion, with Russell Wilson throwing an interception in the final minute that cost them the game. The Seahawks had second and goal at the 1-yard line, and instead of handing the ball to Marshawn Lynch, they attempted a pass.

Joe Staley summed things up perfectly:

I think this is incredibly fitting for 49ers fans. We all remember the 49ers having second and goal at the Ravens 5-yard line, and proceeding to throw three straight passes. It was burned into our minds, and it will be burned into the minds of Seahawks fans.

At least the 49ers were five yards out. The Seahawks were on the one-yard line, and I have zero clue how you do not give it to Marshawn Lynch on second, third and if needed, fourth down. He's a beast of a running back, and arguably the best running back to have in that situation. Instead, they passed, and it cost them. Don't worry Seahawks fans, 49ers fans know exactly how you're feeling.
