Good morning everyone. The 49ers are still taking heat in the media and with former players over their coaching staff. It's understandable, whenever a coach of the caliber of Jim Harbaugh is let go, there are going to be some questions of the guy replacing him. Add on the fact that the guy replacing him has been a positional coach for close to a decade with no coordinator experience, and people are going to question that decision.
I'm actually right there with a lot of people, Jim Tomsula was not my first, second, third, or fourth choice of potential Jim Harbaugh replacements. Hell, Jim Harbaugh would be the ideal guy for that job in my opinion. I just don't get the gut reaction a large number of people have of expecting failure before seeing anything. I can respect that most of the criticism seems to stem from the release of Jim Harbaugh more so that the hiring of Tomsula. But now that Tomsula is the coach, I don't see why we can't just let him do something before judging his merits. To the links!
