How to watch Trent Baalke's NFL Combine press conference online

New, comments

Trent Baalke will be one of the first executives to take the podium at the NFL Scouting Combine on Wednesday.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL Combine is here, which means just about every head coach and general manager will take part in press conferences prior to the players actually finding their way onto the field for drills and workouts on Friday. That includes San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke and head coach Jim Tomsula.

Baalke will be available early Wednesday morning, with his conference set for 7:45 a.m. PT. Tomsula will be taking part in his first press conference not hosted by the 49ers since he was named head coach, and his is set for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

If you're wanting to watch Baalke's conference online, then you're in luck. NFL.com will be broadcasting all of the press conferences between Wednesday and Saturday, and you can find that here. If you have trouble getting in there, 49ers.com/live will have the Baalke and Tomsula press conferences HERE. A full schedule of the general manager/head coach interviews -- if you're interested in another one, for some reason -- can be found here.

Of course, we can probably expect Baalke and Tomsula to field some questions about the recent Jim Harbaugh interview and the Adam Gase reports, but it's not worth expecting anything significant to come out of those questions (although I don't know how it is typically structured and if those questions will even get through). Obviously, more people are probably interested in what happens with Tomsula's conference, given his ... issues in that regard thus far.

I am interested to hear an update from Baalke on Frank Gore and his status on the team. Gore's Instagram post and his agent's insistence that the 49ers have already engaged in contract negotiations make for an interesting situation. Gore's agent suggested that talks will continue at the NFL Combine, and Baalke should be asked about him.
