The 2015 NFL Combine wraps up Monday with the defensive backs going through drills. The rest of the players have left town, and that includes a class of wide receivers that has some impressive talent up top. The 49ers will have met with several notable members from that class as the Combine comes to an end.
Eric Branch was making his way through the Indianapolis airport Saturday afternoon en route back to the Bay Area, and he ran into a couple receivers.

Harper is a little further down the board for wide receivers, but DGB joins Phillip Dorsett as potential first round talents to meet with the 49ers at the Combine. The 49ers had the chance to meet with up to 60 players, so it is safe to say they probably met with other wide receivers. We'll slowly learn about some of them, and we will likely learn more if the 49ers draft another wide receiver. The 49ers have conference calls with their draft picks, and a frequent question is what kind of contact they had. I'm working on a list of 49ers Combine meetings over the last few years to get a better handle on this.
We still don't know the status of Michael Crabtree with the 49ers. But at this point, do you think the team uses a first round pick on a wide receiver? Or does Trent Baalke look to wait for another mid-round talent? He elected not to move up during last year's first round run, although there have since been reports he looked at a potential move up for a guy like Odell Beckham Jr. It's certainly not an easy prediction to make.
