It's been talked about extensively on this site, and most of us seem to think that there is no way Michael Crabtree (who is an unrestricted free agent) will be a 49er next season. Now we have some buzz coming from Jason Cole during the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, that the 49ers organization might be planning on letting Crabtree sign with another team and look to draft another wide receiver with a high pick. This is not really news to us, but it is nice to get some sort of confirmation from the media even if it is an unofficial rumor. It wouldn't be the 49ers after all without a few leaks here and there. Well here are a few nuggets to go with those too.
