That had the best outcome possible for Niner fans, right? Having the Seahawks feel the same way the Niners did in the Super Bowl. So close to winning, but ending up losing. That's all I'll talk about this game. The offseason has officially started. The mock drafts will be coming fast and furious to satisfy the NFL masses.
The Niners enter the offseason with lots of questions about the team. But even with all those questions, they still are one of the favorites for next year's Super Bowl at their own Levi's Stadium. This is strictly due to all the talent that they still possess. The unproven coaching staff holds the key. I could see next season being a complete disaster or a great success. Jim Tomsula steps into a hard position. But he has the team that could make it easy on him and the coaching staff.
Trent Baalke has some holes to fill on this roster. The most obvious one is the one that he never seems to fill correctly. The Niners are still looking for that big, speedy receiver on the outside. Fans can't figure out why this is still an issue. Last year's draft produced quite a few good receivers. The Niners picked one, but for some reason didn't play him much. The Niners seem destined to pick another WR in this year's draft. The most common name being Jaleen Strong. Get ready for all the names to be tossed around by draft experts. Baalke better get this pick right. This position has been a weak spot for too long. Fix it Trent!
