The conclusion of the Super Bowl meant we finally had the full draft order for the first two rounds. We also know the first 32 picks of the third round. In March, we'll learn about comp picks, and that will settle the full seven rounds of the 2015 NFL Draft.
As things currently stand, the San Francisco 49ers have seven draft picks, and will likely receive a pair of comp picks in the fourth and seventh rounds. For now, the 49ers picks include:
1 (15). Own
2 (14). Own
3 (15). Own
4 (27). From Denver Broncos for 2014 draft day trade
5 (15). Own
6 (14). Own
7 (29). From Indianapolis Colts for Cam Johnson trade
The 49ers traded away their own fourth for Stevie Johnson. That pick could turn into a third if Johnson met certain performance requirements. As it currently stands, I would be surprised if he met the requirements. The 49ers also traded away their seventh round pick for Jonathan Martin. The pick was contingent on Martin making the roster this past season.
While the first two rounds and most of the third appear to be set, there are a couple chances for some shakeup in the order. The Atlanta Falcons admitted to pumping noise into their stadium the last two years. There is no word on punishment, but the league seemingly does not take lightly such infractions. The Falcons pick ahead of the 49ers in each round, so there is a chance for a small bump if the Falcons lost a pick.
There is also deflategate. The whole thing quieted down pretty quickly, with the NFL's investigation so far not revealing a whole lot of much. My guess is the Patriots do not lose a draft pick for this. I'd imagine we'll find out in the next week or two.
