Torrey Smith agrees to 5-year contract with 49ers, per report

We don't have final word yet, but it appears Torrey Smith is in the Bay Area or on his way to town to sign his next contract. Rumors have percolated he had decided to sign with the San Francisco 49ers, and we would appear to be one step closer. Smith shot out this tweet a few minutes ago:

Earlier today, we heard that AAnquan Boldin told a reporter a Smith deal was done. I suppose this tweet could indicate the Oakland Raiders, but let's just go with Boldin's comments on this one. I couldn't handle Smith changing his mind and going to the Raiders!

I imagine we will hear something in the next hour or two, if not sooner. The 49ers might not make it official right away, but all the beat writers and national folks will be all over any new contract. Until then, we'll take tweets like this!
