We are finally starting to see some rumors surrounding San Francisco 49ers free agent cornerback Chris Culliver. Jason LaCanfora is reporting Culliver is visiting Washington. This comes two days after a report that the Minnesota Vikings had interest in Culliver. I missed that, but it now gives us two teams that have been connected to Cully.
LaCanfora referred to Culliver as "in-demand CB" in his tweet. Others have reported they expected Culliver to have a big market. And I think for his talent, it makes sense. However, if he was highly sought after, I would think we would see more leaks about interest. It is in his agent's best interest to leak out whatever information he can to boost the market. We see it time and again, but for now there has not been much said about anything.
Culliver follows Perrish Cox, who visited Washington yesterday. Cox is also drawing interest from the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans.
Fooch's update: Apparently the Jets were also interested. Given that they have signed Revis and Cromartie, I'm guessing they are not so interested anymore.
