Free agency is winding down, and we have a good idea of what the San Francisco 49ers' haul looks like. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with it, outside of the decision to sign cornerback Shareece Wright. I really like the Torrey Smith signing and I think Reggie Bush, at the very least, adds another dimension to the offense.
I don't know whether or not I want him to get significant playing time as I don't expect he can do much with the touches that go his way, but I think his presence has an effect on the defense and will continue to do so throughout the season if the 49ers aren't too predictable. It also looks like the 49ers aren't paying Bush a whole lot, with just $1.1 million guaranteed. Not small enough to think Bush could get released if he under-performs, but it's not going to hurt the 49ers financially.
