The demolition of Candlestick Park is a slow moving process due to the decision to bulldoze, rather than implode the old stadium. The slow nature of this has allowed people to get pictures and video throughout the process.
The video above was posted to YouTube last week, and features a Journey song that is prominently used in the Bay Area. As you watch this video set to that choice of music, doesn't it feel like the closing credits of a disaster movie? Or even just some point in the disaster movie after something bad has happened and recovery begins. The whole thing is kind of odd, but I've watched it three times now, and it kind of grows on me.
