49ers pre-draft workouts: Team has official visit planned with CB Tray Walker, per Tony Pauline

The San Francisco 49ers reportedly have an official visit with small school cornerback Tray Walker. We take a look at his numbers.

The San Francisco 49ers were one of numerous teams attending the Texas Southern Pro Day earlier this week, with a reported 25 NFL scouts on hand. It sounds like cornerback Tray Walker was the primary attraction, and the 49ers have an official visit planned with Walker, according to Tony Pauline.

Walker is a big guy with the height/length that NFL teams love to see. He has decent speed, but scouting reports indicate he lacks deep, make-up speed (only scouting report I'm finding). He did not attend the NFL Combine, but instead went through the regional Combine process. He showed up well at the Super Regional Combine in Phoenix, and has gotten on a lot of radars. The 49ers have plenty of young talent right now, but Walker could be an interesting late round or UDFA option.

Here is a rundown of the numbers from his Pro Day:

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 187 pounds
Arm length: 33 5/8"
40-yard dash: 4.54
Vertical: 32 1/2"
Broad: 10'2"
20-yard shuttle: 4.30
3-cone drill: 6.80
