Golden Nuggets: Lance Briggs coming in for a visit

Good morning folks, this is the last Golden Nuggets you have from me for a little over a week, as I'm about to embark on a move across the country and since I'm too poor to afford movers, I'm driving the distance with a trailer. As such, there will be nobody to protect you from Fooch and his evil ways, but perhaps me taking a leave instead of him will lead to good San Francisco 49ers news for once, since all hell breaks loose whenever he leaves.

As far as the 49ers are concerned, it looks like things have quieted down since the team waived Jonathan Martin. I think people here are too hard on him and simply want a scapegoat, but I guess the 49ers can still do better. At this point, we've got some visits from linebackers, specifically Lance Briggs. I'm not sure how I feel about that but it can't hurt at this point.
