Wrestlemania 31 results: Seth Rollins pins Roman Reigns to take Brock Lesnar's heavyweight championship

After three months of build-up, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns finally squared off at Wrestlemania 31, and we got a stunning finish that will be talked about for some time. Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned Reigns while Brock Lesnar was laid out following a curb stomp and spear. It capped off a wildly entertaining Wrestlemania 31.

Lesnar dominated virtually the entire match. He hit double digit suplexes, and nailed numerous F-5s on Reigns. However, just as he seemed ready to win, a reversal into a ring post outside the ring cut him open. He was woozy from there, and Reigns took advantage. He hit his Superman punch three times, and got in two spears. He was unable to pin Lesnar though, and Lesnar then hit an F-5, but was unable to cover right away.

That is when Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. He pushed Reigns out of the ring, and then curb-stomped Lesnar. He went to do it again, but Lesnar got up and caught him in an F-5 setup. Reigns re-entered the ring and speared Lesnar at this point. This was followed by Rollins curb-stomping Reigns and getting the pin to claim the WWE Championship.

The storylines now abound with Rollins heading to Monday Night RAW as the new champion. It was a wild night, and things will remain crazy heading into the new "wrestling year."
