2015 NFL Draft: Monday March 30th Pro Day schedule

Pro days for today include Indiana, Massachusetts, and South Alabama.

Glenn Andrews-USA TODAY Sports

As March winds down, the pro days are nearing an end, with only three pro days remaining this draft season after Thursday. There are big colleges and names the rest of the week, but for today the colleges holding pro days are Indiana, Massachusetts, and South Alabama.

Indiana's biggest prospect is running back Tevin Coleman. Unfortunately Coleman will not be participating in the pro day today due to him recovering from a toe injury. Coleman ranks in the top tier of running backs, just behind Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley. On the year Coleman rushed for 2,036 yards and 15 touchdowns. Although he won't be participating today, Coleman will have a April 15 private workout for NFL teams and scouts to attend.

Indiana also provides two intriguing late round options at positions the 49ers could use further depth at, cornerback and defensive end. Cornerback Tim Bennett won't be a high pick because of his 5'9" height. In 2013 Bennett ranked first in the nation with 20 pass breakups and 21 passes defended. Bennett is a surprisingly physical corner for his size who tackles with authority and quick recognition/fast closing speed. And then there's Hoosiers defensive end Bobby Richardson, who posted 5.5 sacks in 2015 and performed at the combine. His 5.16 forty wasn't impressive and he lacks the ideal height for a 3-4 end at just 6'3". He will have to have a good day today or he could fall out of the draft, because right now he appears to be a tweener.

The last prospect to note comes from South Alabama and ranked No. 10 in my quarterback rankings. QB Brandon Bridge is a project quarterback with a ton of athletic ability. 2014 was the only season Bridge had as a starter, it was a mixed big of a season, flashes of his potential showed but inconsistencies were equally as glaring. Bridge completed only 52.1 percent of his passes in 2014, while throwing for 15 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. A strong arm and mobile legs that will buy Bridge extra time, he could be an option for the 49ers to consider in hopes of developing into Colin Kaepernick's backup.
