2015 NFL Draft: March 9 Pro Days

Today's pro days include: Ball State, Grand Valley State, Montana, and Northern Arizona.

This week's pro days get off to a slow start with Ball State, Grand Valley State, Montana, and Northern Arizona.

Even though there aren't any big names showing off their skills today, I do believe there are at least two late round prospects in Ball State RB Jahwan Edwards and Montana's DE Zach Wagenmann.

Edwards will be looking to improve on his 4.8 forty from last month's Combine. The 5-9, 220lbs power back never scored fewer than 11 touchdowns during his four-year collegiate career. The question of course is if that sort of production could carry over into the NFL. Someone is likely to take a chance on him in the 7th round but he's probably heading for a practice squad.

Wagenmann quietly dominated at the Combine last month posting top five number in several of the drills including the fasted 3-cone time a great barometer for quickness and explosiveness. However, a last place showing in the bench press with 14 really prevented him from taking a giant step up the draft board. With strength questions, some teams could opt to give Wagenmann a shot as a  strict speed rush, 3-4 OLB.

Pro days continue tomorrow with Akron, Alabama-Birmingham, Arizona, Army, Harvard, Kansas State, Kent State, Monmouth, Samford, Tennessee State, and UCLA.
