NFL mock draft 2015: NN 2.0 49ers pick goes cornerback

My post-free agency mock draft has a familiar name going to the 49ers.

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Now that the free agent frenzy has died down, here is my latest first round mock draft. I know what you're thinking: "Not very original, Nick!" And you're right. It seems the Trae Waynes to the San Francisco 49ers pick is picking up more and more steam. It was hard for me to bail on my desire to see Dorial Green-Beckham end up with the 49ers. I had to face the music. This team has consistently prioritized defensive over offense, even with an offensive coach. Now with a defensive guy at the helm, they're definitely going to address that side of the ball again. Right?

I'm firmly on board with taking DeVante Parker or DGB if either are there at 15. But Waynes makes too much sense. He's arguably the top corner in this class and would give the 9ers a formidable secondary despite the losses of Perrish Cox and Chris Culliver.

I'll be back about week before draft day to give this whole mock thing another try. Until then, where did I get it right and where did I get it wrong?
