2015 NFL mock draft: The 49ers second round pick is in for the blogger mock draft

I have to think the San Francisco 49ers would love to see Breshad Perriman slip to them in the second round. Is that even possible at this point?

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The SB Nation mock draft has moved into the second round, and my pick is in. I actually made it last week, but the folks at Mocking The Draft published it today. With the San Francisco 49ers second round pick, I selected Central Florida wide receiver Breshad Perriman. This followed my first round pick of Texas defensive tackle Malcom Brown.

Dan Kadar of Mocking the Draft described it as a good value choice. Here is what he said about the pick:

There has been a lot of discussion about Perriman being a first-round pick, but this range is more appropriate. For all the things there are to like about Perriman -- his size and speed combo, namely -- his flaws are maddening. His hands are spotty, and his route running is suspect. But when he's on, Perriman is a true No. 1 receiving option. The talent is there; he just has to consistently harness it, which hasn't happened yet.

With the draft just over two weeks away, Breshad Perriman has been steadily rising in mock drafts. These reflect media understanding of a player, so they are not always in the ballpark. However, does anybody see Perriman slipping to the 49ers second round pick at this point?

If the 49ers ended up with Brown and Perriman, how would you grade the draft? Dan mocked a defensive lineman and wide receiver to the 49ers in his most recent mock. Of course, not everybody would like to see Eddie Goldman and Phillip Dorsett on the 49ers roster next year. If it ended up as Brown and Perriman, how would you feel about it?
