Good morning everyone. I would like to apologize in advance if anything is funky with this version of the Nuggets. I had an endoscopy yesterday and I'm still a little loopy from the procedure. Apparently, I asked where my phone was and demanded Subway several times yesterday. Yeah, no recollection of that. Anyways, as you can see from the links, not a ton was going on in my feed, so if anyone has something I missed, feel free to add it.
Maiocco's piece was pretty interesting because it hearkens back to an argument I witnessed on twitter a while back. My memory is still more than a little fuzzy right now, so I don't remember who it was. But like the great chicken and egg debate (Its egg FYI) this argument was about whether Trent Baalke is bad at drafting at WR or just doesn't partake. It was interesting because on one hand we have a clear failure in A.J. Jenkins and no clear hits. On the other, the number of guys he has drafted in that spot is really low and only one in the first round. It is impossible to answer, but I do agree that we need more data before we can come to a conclusion one way or another. I sure wouldn't want a top WR prospect to be sitting there at 15, only for Trent Baalke to get cold feet because he put A.J. Jenkin's name in an envelope in 2012. To the links!
