49ers local Pro Day: Full list of participants in advance of 2015 NFL Draft

New, comments

The San Francisco 49ers will have 64 local players at their Santa Clara facility on Friday for a local Pro Day. That will be preceded by a Trent Baalke media session.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting their local Pro Day Friday afternoon, with 64 players in attendance. The players, listed below in order of position, have either played for a Bay Area college/university, or grew up in towns that are in the 49ers metropolitan area. According to Matt Maiocco, the NFL office uses the 2015 Rand-McNally Road Atlas to determine the metropolitan area of a city.

The workouts begin at 2:15 this afternoon. Prior to that, general manager Trent Baalke will meet with the media from 12 to 12:30 p.m. I don't imagine we get a lot of details from him, but there will at least be a little something to chew on.

The list of players below comes courtesy of 49ers.com. They took a look at CBS Sports rankings, and decided the highest rated players include DE Henry Anderson (No. 125 overall), SS Jordan Richards (No. 175 overall) and WR Ty Montgomery (No. 180 overall). Last year, the 49ers ended up signing three of the Pro Day participants as undrafted free agents. They had some big names in as well, but did not get any of them in the draft.
