The San Francisco 49ers have some question marks at wide receiver, and that has led to them being connected with numerous pass catchers in the upcoming draft. Ian Rapoport is now reporting the team hosted Oklahoma/Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham for a visit. The team reportedly interviewed him at the NFL Combine, so this would be the logical next step to get a little more detail.
General manager Trent Baalke met with the media on Friday, and he had this to say about DGB:
#49ers GM Trent Baalke on #DGB aka @DorialGB5: "I couldn't tell you if we've taken him off our board... We've done our homework."

He also addressed the 49ers reported need at wide receiver:
T. Baalke spoke highly of #49ers WR corps with Q/Torrey/QP/Ellington/Simpson.. "We're fast...er. Feel very good about that group of guys."

Do the #49ers need to take a WR early in round 1? Trent Baalke: "Don't feel like we have to be pressured into making that decision."

Baalke also said he did not think the team had any notable holes to fill in the draft, but is anybody really shocked he would say that?
I have to admit, I kind of want to see the 49ers draft DGB just to see the reactions in the media. We'll have to set the over/under at mentions of "class" in headlines and ledes at something like 1.5 or 2.5. It would primarily just be the columnists, so we'd be talking Lowell Cohn, Tim Kawakami and Ann Killion. There could be others as well, but most of the other 49ers writers are beat writers and would not get into that in the same manner. Color me intrigued!
