Good morning everyone. For me, yesterday was one of those days where the end could not come soon enough. I won't bore you with details, but lets just say that all I want right now is to go to sleep and hope tomorrow is better. Luckily for me (for once), April has become a dead month for NFL news ever since Roger Goodell and the owners moved the draft back a few weeks. As you can see by the links, not a ton is going on in the 49ers world right now.
One thing that looked interesting was the BASG piece debating whether resigning Michael Crabtree would be so bad. I have never been a big Michael Crabtree fan, he is certainly a good reciever, but I always thought he had a much higher opinion of his own abilities than what actually existed. I have heard rumors from his end that he has little interest in returning, but free agency had been going to a while now and he is still painfully available. He is a good player, and I wouldn't be diametrically opposed to his returning, but he better be signed at a massive discount compared to his previous contract. To the links!
Would it be so bad to re-sign Michael Crabtree? (BASG)
Thumbs up: Local WR Vince Mayle in demand, will meet with 49ers (Barrows)
Will Colin Kaepernick's offseason work yield improvement? (ESPN)
49ers still considering Lance Briggs; why they might wait on any free agent (Barrows)
