I've been pretty much coasting or ignoring most of the NFL news lately thanks to the lack of 49ers controversy in the past days. I'd like to claim that I've been dutifully scouring through draft prospect lists (like previous seasons), but the complete unpredictability of Trent Baalke's early picks have pretty much made me quit that habit. Like majority of NFL fans, I will just sit back, turn on the TV and my computer on April 30 and watch the fireworks happen.
I'm not even going to try predicting what Trent will use his no.1 pick on, but I do expect another oddball selection. Maybe he goes with a CB who doubles up as a WR on offense. Or maybe he completely crosses us up and chooses a basketball power forward who could be converted to a TE? Oh wait, that might have been done already. How about trades his top 3 picks to acquire the rights to Russell Wilson and then flip him to the Seattle Mariners (forever getting him out of the NFL and the 49ers hair). See this kind of conjecture is what goes on in my mind when there's no NFL games being played.
Let's just stop there and get to the Nuggets.
