Golden Nuggets: Draft and Offseason Preparations Continue

Friday, April 3, 2015 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of 49ers links from around the web.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Trent Baalke and his coaching staff are preparing for the upcoming NFL Draft and rumors and mock drafts continue to speculate on who they will choose. This is a difficult proposition at best since Baalke takes after 49er legend Bill Walsh. He is not afraid to maneuver up and down the draft by trading picks and personnel. He's also not gun shy about taking a gamble on players who may not be valued as high by other teams. Overall though, the strategy has been a solid, if not spectacular one for the team. Look to see Trent wheeling and dealing once again when the Chicago draft goes live.

Meanwhile, we get some rumblings about how the offseason of some players are going like NaVorro Bowman, Colin Kaepernick, etc. Read about it in the links below.
