Opening Day, NCAA championship game cap off Monday

Bob Stanton-USA TODAY Sports

It is safe to say this is a pretty impressive Monday! As has become tradition, the NCAA basketball title game takes place the same night as baseball's Opening Day wraps up. The title game tips off at 6:18 p.m. PT, and features Duke and Wisconsin in a matchup that should be a fun one. It is an upset considering Kentucky was the overwhelming favorite, but Duke and Wisconsin were both No. 1 seeds. I'm likely left to root for Wisconsin as I can't stand Duke.

The good news is there will be baseball opposite the title game. The Oakland A's and San Francisco Giants both kick off their 2015 seasons with late games. The Giants travel to face the Arizona Diamondbacks with first pitch at 7 p.m. on ESPN2. The A's host the Texas Rangers with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m. That game is not on national television, but the Extra Innings package is free the first week of the season.
