49ers to host WR DeVante Parker for pre-draft visit

The San Francisco 49ers are bringing in one of the top wide receiver draft prospects for a visit. Who is your receiver of choice early in the draft?

Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers will use one of their 30 official pre-draft visits on a big name wide receiver. Matt Barrows is reporting the team will meet with Louisville product DeVante Parker later this month. The 49ers spoke with Parker previously, but this will be the most formal meeting to date. Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net is reporting Parker also has private visits set with the Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings.

Parker has been projected in the top half of the 2015 NFL Draft, with a lot of mocks putting him ahead of the 49ers pick at No. 15. There have been rumors the 49ers might try and move up for Alabama WR Amari Cooper, but DeVante Parker is clearly on their radar as well.

As Barrows pointed out, Parker, Cooper and Kevin White are the three consistently projected top prospect wide receivers. Dorial Green-Beckham, Jaelen Strong and others are mentioned as potential first round talents, but the view on those prospects is a bit more inconsistent.

If the 49ers were to get a wide receiver in the first round, what would you prefer? A potentially big move up for Cooper or White, or maybe a small move up or no move for Parker? Or grab DGB at 15, or move down for him or another receiver? How badly do you want your receiver of choice?
