Le'Veon Bell suspended 3 games for DUI

The San Francisco 49ers face the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015. If they're lucky, it will be in the first three games when Le'Veon Bell is serving his suspension.

Jason Bridge-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL is set to suspend Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell for three games due to his DUI back in August of 2014, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He was with LeGarrette Blount at the time, and Blount received a one-game suspension. Schefter reported Bell is appealing the suspension.

The San Francisco 49ers are scheduled to face the Steelers this year at Heinz Field. The regular season schedule should be released in the next week or two, at which point we will find out if the 49ers face the Steelers during those first three games. If the 49ers do face them during that time, they would face a running back corps headed by DeAngelo Williams. The group also includes Dri Archer and Josh Harris, but my guess is Williams gets the most carries during that stretch.

I'm all for beating a team when they are at 100 percent, but I have no problem seeing the 49ers beat teams at less than 100 percent. After all, every team will hit some road bumps along the way, and we saw the 49ers effectively run into brick walls last year. No sympathy for anybody!
