The San Francisco 49ers have inked nine of their draft picks, making those signings official Monday evening. The 49ers signed their entire class except for first round pick Arik Armstead.
The delay in Armstead is because he is not allowed to report to the team's facility until Friday. Oregon's academic calendar runs on a quarter system, which means he cannot join the team full time until June. He is allowed to attend the three days of this weekend's minicamp, but he cannot report before, and has to leave immediately after. The other nine draft picks all were on the semester system and could report on Monday.
The signing of the draft picks means the return of the quill pen. Several of the players posted pictures to social media from the signings.
