Good morning everyone. Seems like defensive end Justin Smith is once again dominating the headlines as we wait to see whether or not he's actually going to retire. The San Francisco 49ers have given Smith all the time he needs to make a decision and I fully support that, but as the decision reportedly gets closer and closer it's getting harder and harder to wait.
Still, I'm guessing Smith will return for another season. I'm not reading much of the stuff that is actually reported so I don't know if that's what the current buzz happens to be, but my gut tells me Smith will play one more season in San Francisco. I'm going to guess Jim Tomsula factors a lot into the decision, and I'm going to bet it's meant a lot to him that the 49ers have given him enough space to make an informed decision.
Or maybe I'm completely wrong, he retires and three other 49ers do as well for good measure. Onto your links for the day.
