We are still two and a half months away from the release of the latest EA Madden football game, but early ratings are being released. Some notable members of the 2015 NFL Draft class are down in Los Angeles for the NFLPA Rookie Premiere event, and they are getting to find out their initial Madden rating.
San Francisco 49ers running back Mike Davis is part of that group, and he tweeted out his overall rating for the upcoming video game.

There were plenty of responses when he posted the number, with 49ers fans calling it too low. Davis had a good response for the people complaining about his rating:
Listen people yall may think my ratings is low but I'm just happy to be on the game. Let me earn what I can get lol

Not too many people can say they are on Madden. Glad I made it

For comparison's sake, rookie running back Carlos Hyde had a rating of 74 as a second round selection. I'd imagine his rating will climb a little this year. Bishop Sankey and Jeremy Hill also went in the second round last year, and had overall ratings of 73. LaMichael James had a rating of 74 entering his second season with the 49ers.
