I suppose I should lead off this post with the disclaimer that my gut feelings -- my instincts -- are generally terrible. I generally think I'm a pretty smart guy and I know a thing or two about football, but when I get a feeling and run with that feeling, I'm usually totally wrong. I've been right before, but it's certainly not a common occurrence. So maybe it's not great news that I feel really good about what the San Francisco 49ers will look like in 2015.
Maybe I'm buying into the OTAs hype but I just like what I'm hearing right now. No, I don't think players who are clearly past their prime will suddenly find a second wind, nor do I think that players who are essentially rookies coming off huge injuries will step so seamlessly into starting roles, but I feel good about the roster as a whole, and that's something.
It also seems like the further we get away from Jim Harbaugh's farcical ousting, the more I remember how much I liked Jim Tomsula before all of that happened. So that's nice, right? Onto your links, folks.
