Good morning everyone. The preseason starts in just about three months, and the time between then and now will be filled with a whole lot of randomness. Unless there is drama like what happened with Ahmad Brooks a few days ago we get top stories like "Colin Kaepernick defends Tom Brady." Why does Tom Brady need to be defended exactly? There is no way he will be suspended and the people who hate him for this already hated him. Raise your hand if deflate-gate changed your opinion of Tom Brady please.
What? No one? Okay then.
One of the interesting thing from these links was the mention of the Trent Baalke and South Carolina theme from the last few drafts. Chris Culliver, Marcus Lattimore, Bruce Ellington, and now Mike Davis, Busta Anderson and the free agent, Dylan Thompson. That is a pretty large history of selecting players and it seems to be increasing recently. Trent Baalke worked under Steve Spurrier when he was at Washington and he seems to hold him in high regard. I only wish he drafted Alshon Jeffery ahead of A.J. Jenkins. To the links!
