Good morning! Hope all the fathers out there had a good Father's Day and are sporting your annual tie gift this morning. The 49ers website has a couple cool pieces from Father's Day. The Dres Anderson is fun in particular given that his father is former Rams wide receiver Willie "Flipper " Anderson. If you followed football in the late 80s and early 90s, you remember Flipper Anderson. The Rams and 49ers have had a long-time rivalry, but Flipper is ready to support the 49ers

"I'm all in," Flipper says. "If the 49ers able to take my son in, as the son of a former Ram and nemesis of the 49ers, I'm happy that they've taken my son in. I can't wait to get out there and sport the red and gold and support Dres with the 49ers."

It is otherwise a fairly quiet week. The 49ers veterans have all gone their separate ways, and rookies will be heading off soon as well. Following minicamp, the 49ers coaches got a couple more weeks with the rookies. That wraps up with the NFL's rookie symposium this week. I'll have more on that later today, but basically, rookies head to Ohio to learn about being in the NFL. Veterans will meet with them to explain some of the perils of playing in the NFL. Hopefully they stay out of trouble!
