Announcing the 49ers Almanac 2015, now available for pre-order

New, comments

Introducing the season preview specifically for 49ers fans, featuring over 100 pages of the most comprehensive analysis, scouting, and statistics available to get you ready for the 2015 season.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

I'm incredibly excited to officially announce a project I've been working on for the past couple months: 49ers Almanac 2015.

Inspired by high-quality products such as the Football Outsiders Almanac and the Eagles Almanac, my aim was to create the most in-depth San Francisco 49ers season preview available, going well beyond the surface-level analysis you tend to find from national outlets.

I've put together a quick Q&A that should cover most of the information you'll need to know. If you have any further questions, drop them in the comments!

What is 49ers Almanac 2015?

Simply, 49ers Almanac 2015 is the season preview magazine designed specifically for 49ers fans, self-published by yours truly. Rather than a couple pages of generic content from national NFL outlets, you'll get over 100 pages of in-depth analysis, statistics, and scouting reports fueled by countless hours of film study.

When will it be released?

Release is scheduled for July 20th.

There will be an update released in mid-to-late August featuring revisions and additional content to keep you on top of any significant developments from training camp and the preseason. Purchasers of the Almanac will receive the update a part of their original purchase.

What formats will be available?

49ers Almanac 2015 will be released in both digital and printed formats.

Digital: A downloadable PDF will be available directly from, allowing you to easily view it on your preferred computer or mobile device. Barring unforeseen technical issues, it will also be available in the iBookstore and Kindle Store.

Printed: A physical copy will be available through Amazon/CreateSpace. So that I can ensure that those who want a printed copy get all of the content from the August update without having to make a second purchase, the printed copy will not release until after that update is made available.

How much does it cost?

$9.99 for the digital version. Cost for the printed version will be announced at a later date, once publication details have been sorted out.
