Good morning everyone -- hope you survived the night after losing punter Andy Lee. I did notice a lot of people on here getting angry at folks who were upset about Lee's departure, and I can't really understand why. Lee has been with the team for a long time and no, losing a very good punter isn't going to ruin the team but yet another guy leaving is a big deal, whether you or not you choose to admit that. I wish him the best in Cleveland though, and will reserve judgment on Bradley Pinion, as I don't know much about him and don't pretend that I do.
Anyway ... I had to take a break from the 49ers yesterday, and the 147th running of the Belmont Stakes was a wonderful, perfect distraction. It felt so good to watch American Pharoah do his thing, making history and all of that. Of course, I was an anxiety-ridden mess because I was covering the thing for SB Nation and I don't do well under pressure but hey, that sure was a wonderful diversion.
Let's get on to your links, yeah?
