Jed York, Jim Harbaugh interaction would explain a lot

This story about Jed York and Jim Harbaugh seems over the top, but would we put anything past them given the reported tension?

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The relationship between Jed York and Jim Harbaugh has been the subject of much discussion for quite a while. It publicly dates back to the Cleveland Browns rumors a year ago, and the reports have been extensive since then. It culminated in a "mutual" parting of the ways between the coach and owner.

There have been plenty of denials that it was anything other than two sides just deciding to go their separate ways. However, there have been enough rumors that it is hard to take any of it seriously. And now we have a report that would certainly add some fuel to the then dysfunctional fire.

Kyle has broken numerous stories, big and small in nature. His source(s) helped him break news on Patrick Willis's retirement, Perrish Cox departing, and he was even in the mix during the Colin Kaepernick contract extension news last year. Suffice to say, he has credibility with his sources.

At the same time, this obviously lacks a little bit of context to fully interpret the situation. Whatever the context, it does not come across well. Jim Harbaugh frequently talked about his "mighty men" when discussing the players. There have been enough reports over the years indicating Jim Harbaugh can be an abrasive personality. This does seem a little over the top even for Harbaugh, but I think we've learned to never put any piece of over the top behavior past Jim Harbaugh.

People will interpret this in a variety of ways, but I figured it was at least worth sharing.
