The 2nd half of the season for the Niners starts with a home game against the Atlanta Falcons. The next week gives the team a much needed rest before a big game in the fortress of a stadium in Seattle. CenturyLink has not given the Niners many good memories the last few years. The following week, the team travels back home to finish their season series with the Cardinals.
Following the Arizona game, the Niners play 4 straight games against teams out of their division. They have 2 road games on consecutive weeks against the Bears and Browns respectively. They travel back home for a game against Cincinnati Bengals. The week after they hit the road again to face the Detroit Lions before finishing the season at home against the St. Louis Rams.
The 2nd half of the season looks to be an easier stretch than the 1st half. Other than the Seattle home game, all the other games are against teams that have areas of weaknesses. The teams have QBs that can have good games, but none of them are elite. The coaches of those teams are not considered elite either. If the Niners navigate the 1st half well, the 2nd half can set up very well for them.
