Golden Nuggets: Also waiting for video game 49ers football

Sunday, July 19th, 2015 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

I wish I had something to talk about at this stage of the offseason that amounts to more than "hey training camp is starting soon, guys .... wooh!" But such is the state of the offseason and though it's a tired, thoroughly beaten dead horse, I'll remind everyone once again that no news is certainly better than what we've grown accustomed to this offseason.

The only football thing I'm thinking about right now is the new Madden, which I've played a few times and should own in the near future. It's pretty rad, and the 49ers are alright too (Torrey Smith is awesome, you know). I have a love/hate relationship with the Madden series, though it's been a lot more of the latter for the past ... decade or so. But hey, I know people and play the game before all of you so that's one nice thing about it!

Let's just get to your linkage for the day.
