The San Francisco 49ers return for training camp in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, they have some downtime to enjoy. Plenty are traveling and relaxing, but some are also doing football camps and charity work. Colin Kaepernick had his football camp two weekends ago, and Reggie Bush and NaVorro Bowman each have one coming up.

Elsewhere, Antoine Bethea had a "Community Day" at his alma mater, Denbigh High School, in Newport News, Virginia. The event was highlighted by a kickball game featuring a variety of current NFL players. The video above was shot by the Mid-Atlantic Niner Empire 49ers booster club. The video below is a news report on the event by a local news station. It includes Bethea and other players talking about the event. Bethea had this to say:

"My message to the kids is that you can't do it without the community," said Bethea, who's totaled 18 interceptions in his career. "I grew up here, I went to this high school and that's just my thing. I want to give back to the community and have everybody come out here and have a good time.

"Everybody does their thing to give back to the community and this is just my way of showing them I appreciate them for their support."
