49ers vs. Bengals 1989 Family Feud showdown for Super Bowl revenge

The San Francisco 49ers have won five Super Bowls, and two of them came at the expense of the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have yet to get revenge on the field, but back in 1989 they managed a little bit on Celebrity Family Feud. The show has had plenty of celebrity guests, and as we have already seen, NFL players have been prominently featured. Vernon Davis joined nine other NFL players last month, and Steve Young and Jim Harbaugh made an appearance back in the 90s.

The video above features ten players from the 49ers and Bengals not too long after the Super Bowl. Bubba Paris and Boomer Esiason were the team captains, and all ten players brought fun times to the proceedings. The highlight might have been some ragging on Esiason's salary. The final portion included a question of what professional athletes are paid the most. The survey had football players on top. Esiason said the NFL league office must be behind that. And then the host gave him some crap given that QB contracts are higher than most.

The Bengals win the game in somewhat thrilling fashion. It was a fun time all around for both teams, so give it a watch.

49ers: Bubba Paris, Pierce Holt, Michael Carter, Guy McIntyre, Riki Ellison

Bengals: Boomer Esiason, David Fulcher, Icky Woods, James Brooks, Anthony Munoz
